These initiatives include supporting and sponsoring scientific conferences, as well as rehabilitating research halls dedicated to communication and media studies.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x1ghz6dp x1717udv x1wty727 x1pd3egz x4gjf66 x1wwbdsi x86bw1a x1lziwak x15472z4 x1qlqyl8 x15bjb6t x1lliihq x14rh7hd\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-d-component=\"text\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>This came during the Minister\u2019s reception of a delegation from the College of Arts, headed by its Dean, Professor Dr Ali Abdul-Amir Sajit. The Minister emphasised the importance of deepening cooperation and joint efforts between the Ministry and colleges of arts, particularly at the University of Baghdad, given the pivotal role that research in communication and interpersonal communication plays in supporting and informing government decision-making in this vital sector.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x1ghz6dp x1717udv x1wty727 x1pd3egz x4gjf66 x1wwbdsi x86bw1a x1lziwak x15472z4 x1qlqyl8 x15bjb6t x1lliihq x14rh7hd\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-d-component=\"text\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>For his part, the Dean delivered a detailed presentation on the theoretical and applied research produced by the academic departments of the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad in the field of national communications. He highlighted the value of this body of knowledge to both the engineering and technical sectors. Dr Sajit also revealed the College\u2019s intention to establish a Centre for Communication Studies from the perspectives of the humanities and social
