Professors provided detailed explanations to help students understand the significance of historical periods that predate the invention of writing, focusing on the civilisations of Wadi al-Rafidain, or Mesopotamia, and their profound contributions to early human culture. Through these explanations, students gained insights into the complex relationship between the Arabic language and ancient languages, particularly Akkadian in its Babylonian and Assyrian forms.
