The intersection of academic institutions and athletic prowess often yields noteworthy achievements that underscore the holistic development of students. Such a convergence was vividly witnessed on November 2nd at the Bab Al-Muadham college complex when the College of Arts team at the University of Baghdad emerged victorious in the highly contested five-a-side football tournament.
The College of Arts team, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Amir Sajet, the dean of College of Arts, defeated the College of Education Ibn Rushd for Humanities to secure the top spot. The winning team was subsequently honoured by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Amir Sajet. Furthermore, the College of Arts team successfully navigated their way through the championship qualifiers by defeating the teams from the College of Pharmacy and College of Islamic Sciences.
