The Vision and The Goals

The Faculty of Arts aspires to be one of the best scientific institutions with regard to quality assurance and accreditation, based on the great contributions of its scholars to the Arab countries and the world. Therefore, it pays intensive and accurate attention to scientific research and exerts all its scientific and administrative energies to make its outcome have a solid knowledge production by providing high-quality scientific programs which utilize and explore the innovative dimension of knowledge.  

The college works to enhance the standards of the quality management system, to ensure the application of international standards in the field of University education.

- Activate the scientific role to provide the community with research projects that contribute to address problems with a scientific solution.

- Preparation of academics, translators, psychological researchers, social researchers, archaeologists, linguists, writers, philosophers, geographers, and historians with high skills in their field of specialization.

-  Emphasis on the independence in developing the scientific curricula and update them regularly.

- Improving the University environment to achieve a suitable atmosphere  for the students and faculty.

- Achieve the informative construction of the students by getting them acquainted with the cultures of other peoples.

- Paying attention to the educational and moral aspects of the students, through spreading the spirit of tolerance and dedication in order to affirm the commitment to the ethics of humane dealing with the self-first, and second with other humans according to the secular and mundane regulations.

- Cooperation with other scientific institutions inside and outside Iraq through the relevant embassies. Teachers , Instructors in the departments and students in the final stages have to mix and communicate with people from other countries to improve their performance.

- Activation of the scientific cooperation with the private sector within an organizational work characterized by team spirit and professional ethics.

- Reinforce the links between the college and the various segments of the society.
