Under the patronage of the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, the University honored the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Ali Abdul Ameer Sajit, Ph.D., on the occasion of the College’s achievement of second place among the University’s colleges in the field of student activities.
The recognition took place during the visit of Assist. Prof. Ali Sadiq Thiyab, Ph.D., Director of the Department of Student Activities at the University of Baghdad, to the College of Arts on Monday, 17 November 2025, where he extended his congratulations and appreciation for the College’s distinguished efforts in implementing its student activity programs and ensuring an active presence in various university events.
The Director of the Department of Student Activities affirmed that this accomplishment reflects the commitment of the College’s Dean and the Student Activities Unit—led by Prof. Mohammed Ali Majeed Zayer Ph.D., —to supporting student talents, developing their skills, and enhancing their engagement in university life.
For his part, the Dean expressed his appreciation for this initiative, praising the support of the University Presidency and commending the significant efforts made by the staff of the Student Activities Unit, which contributed to achieving this success.
