During his visit to Germany, the Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Amir Sajet, held a scientific meeting with Dr. Helen Gries, Scientific Assistant of the Eastern Department at the Pergamon Museum

The meeting was attended by Dr. Margarete van Ess, Head of the East Department at the German Archaeological Institute, and an accompanying delegation. The discussions centred on enhancing collaboration with the Pergamon Museum, in line with the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Baghdad and the German Archaeological Institute. Dr. Helen Gries expressed her appreciation for the College of Arts’ role in fostering cooperation with German institutions, describing it as a valuable gateway linking the University of Baghdad to German universities
