Dean of the College of Arts Discusses Opening Procedures for the Iraqi-German Center with the Head of the East Department at the German Archaeological Institute

A delegation from the College of Arts, led by Dean Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Amir Sajet, visited Berlin and met with Professor Margarete van Ess, Head of the East Department at the German Archaeological Institute. The discussion centred on the implementation of the existing Memorandum of Understanding with the German Archaeological Institute and on the preliminary steps required to establish the Iraqi-German Centre. The latter is designed to foster academic and archaeological collaboration between Iraq and Germany
